Copy writing:the key to getting your visitors interested
Copy writing is the art of using words to persuade people to look at what you have to offer, and then buy. Under the "old school" way of finding prospects it was the spoken word that was gold.No one thought about using the internet.Uplines just uttered the mantra "you gotta talk to more people."Sure scripts were often used but they just sounded wooden. Now the "new school" method uses the internet and whilst videos are now very popular, all other content is written and this is where knowing how to use the right words is so important. So what is the first thing people see when they come to your lead capture page, blog or website? It's the headline of course. It is said that 80% of success in advertising comes from having an effective headline. So what are the keys to have a good effective and memorable headline that will compel people to take action? 1.The headline should sound like a conversation, and one that's already going on in the prospect's head. 2.Use short word no more than two syllables. 3.Arose curiosity- leave something hanging in the air. 4.Hint at a reward for reading further. 5.Give the reader a prompt to go further. Follow these guidelines and you will create an effective headline that will get you traffic and conversions.
