Website Copywriting Techniques:Compell your audience to buy

Website Copywriting Techniques,you need them because there is so much competition out there.Day by day the number of webpages grows by massive amounts.

As I write this there are some 10 BILLION web pages,and those are just the ones in English and are actually know to Google so there are many more.So I am going to set out for some tips I have picked up for writing great copy.

She states that you must ask five basic question when you are offering a product or service to the web market.

Question 1: What is the problem.People buy things because they have a problem for which they need a solution.Perry Marshall he of Google Adwords fame,said that nobody bought a drill because they wanted a drill,they bought it because they wanted to make a hole.

So when looking at your product or service ask yourself what problem does it solve?Does your audience even know it has a problem.If not it is your job to make them aware that they do.

Question 2: Why has the problem not been solved.Here is your opportunity to empathise with your target audience and feel their pain.You need them to be aware of their pain because if they are not emotionally attached to finding a solution you will find it hard to persuade them to buy.

Question 3:What is possible:show them how their life will be different once their problem is removed.

Question 4:What is different now:this is where you tell your prospect how your product will eliminate the obstacles to having the life they could foresee under Question 3.

Question 5: tell them what you want them to do, that is buy,sign up or opt in.This is the that you see at the end of every ad.

Have these questions in your mind as you set the words of your lead capture page or Twitter post and you will see your conversion rates soar.
